The Osceola Safe Families Task Force members are concerned citizens in Osceola County who are committed to providing education, awareness and resources to help prevent child abuse.


Osceola Safe Families Task Force’s mission is to provide advocacy, education and aid in Osceola County with the goal of preventing child abuse and neglect in our community.

April Events Calendar (Don’t forget that April is Child Abuse Prevention Month!)


As you can see, we have a full month of child prevention-related activities in April! Here are a few highlights we want to be sure you don’t miss!

Monday, April 2 – Pinwheel Gardens and BLUE Bows will be going up all around the county (for a complete list of the pinwheel gardens, please visit our Facebook page).

Tuesday, April 10 – 1:30 Press Conference at Lake Eola for all Central Florida efforts featuring our own Sheriff Bob Hansell (Lake Eola is turning the fountain BLUE for the day!).

Friday, April 27 – Get Out Your Blues (Everyone is being encouraged to wear BLUE that day)

So many businesses and groups are joining the effort! Special thanks to the organizations listed below for their support of our efforts!

  • The City of St. Cloud is putting BLUE ribbon magnets on all their city vehicles.
  • KPD and the Sheriff’s Office are putting the BLUE ribbon magnets on all their vehicles.
  • The children at Sunnyside have made over 4,000 BLUE ribbons for us to distribute.
  • Kissimmee Florist has also made BLUE bows for us to put up all around Kissimmee.
